It’s a connection, an atmosphere of inspiration. It’s about knowing where and when to be, and the ability to connect and appreciate personalities and unspoken words.
It is every so often the instant that we least imagine that develops the one we hold most dear.

A mutual friend hired me to photographer James and Sheenas wedding. They were married at Goward House here in Victoria. this is the second time I have shot there. Sheena was a former model and was so wonderful to work with and even helped out with suggesting poses and different angles to shoot from, which as many brides will tell you is an amazing feat to do on your wedding day. Sherry Lynn has been a friend for many years and when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was flattered. Davin and Maren were married at a local vineyard and it was a beautiful ceremony. What really touched me was the fact that took the time to choose a location that was accessible to wheelchairs as one of Marens bridesmaids was confined to a wheelchair. Nicole and Chris were married in Courtney British Columbia, and were one of my favourite couples. We came to be very close to each other and even though they now live out of province I still keep in touch with them, you might even say we are like family. Brian and Pauline are both Ballroom dancers and that is how I met Brian. As he and I talked more we found we shared a love of photography. They were married at the Coast Harbour Side in Victoria after having to change their plans a few times. Bill and Nadine were married in Williams Lake British Columbia. I traveled there with the Maid of Honour. The trip in it's self was memorable, but if you have never been there I suggest you make the trip and make sure you bring your camera.
